The custodians of The KREST House have entered a new chapter in their collective story — one that extends beyond the literary world and into the architecture of high-value ventures. Under their new business HG Holdings Pty Ltd, the trio behind KREST Publishers Pty Ltd — Keli H, Kaylin Hariparsad, and Myran Marimuthu — have begun to formalise a pattern long present in their work: a shared instinct for building ambitious, future-leaning enterprises.
HG Holdings will serve as the parent entity, curating and financing a portfolio of internal and external ventures. The first of these is Project Revolution — a flagship development that signals the scale of ambition currently shaping the group’s trajectory.
Soft-announced at the KwaZulu-Natal Trade and Investment Conference, hosted by the state-owned enterprise TIKZN, Project Revolution introduces a world-class automotive lifestyle centre for the KZN North Coast.
The development emerges as a joint venture between HG Holdings and Botswana-based Skybound Industries (SKBI), recognised for their work in aerospace and defence technology. Together, the partners pledged an investment of R860 million, forming part of the more than R100 billion committed to the province at the TIKZN Conference.
The pledge was led by Kaylin Hariparsad, who now assumes the roles of CEO of HG Holdings and CEO of Project Revolution, alongside his ongoing position within The KREST House. Keli H continues as CEO of The KREST House while taking on the portfolio of Director of Public Relations for Revolution.
For The KREST House, this moment reflects the calibre of vision that has long informed the company’s approach to publishing — a belief that creative work belongs in environments shaped by excellence, ambition, and cultural relevance.
