CEO KELI H INSPIRES AT SCHOOL LEADERSHIP EVENT

Keli H, currently serving as the CEO of The KREST House, and author of the 400 series (The Four Hundred Club and Splitting an Empire) was invited as a guest to the girls’ leadership club of Durban North College.

As the only woman on both the shareholding team of KREST Publishers (pty) Ltd and on the board of directors at Revolution, a commercial property venture, she shared advice on leadership after school. “The aim is to have more young women join me in these enterprises soon,” Keli H shared.

Ultimately, the author postulated that a leadership role is not a career title – it’s a way of carrying oneself out. Yes, it’s a position of influence – but it’s also a position of great responsibility. Leaders are ultimately responsible for the people that have chosen to follow them; responsible for their well being, providing stability, creating support.

On a less serious note, she shared one of her favourite tips with the girls: “Your dressing is important. A good outfit can make people believe you are capable of incredible things.”

Under the leadership of Keli H, The KREST House has been led to 15 awards in the publishing space.
